This depends on how you submit your filing, so we will go over both methods and time frames below:
Online Form and Payment
If you submit your form and payment online we process very quickly. Generally we start same day, unless it is the weekend as we are outside the hours of operation. If for any reason you do not receive your documents promptly please feel free to call or text Document Compilation at (707)797-7971. You are also welcome to check your Client Portal for your documents:

Please note that you will need to make sure you are logged into your account to access the portal.
Hard Copy Submission with Money Order by Mail
A draft copy for proofing will generally arrive via e-mail within 2-3 weeks after the documents are received for you to review and go over for corrections. Do note mail is slow to process and will significantly longer to processing time as we have to cash and clear your payment and then manually enter the information on your behalf. Add at least 3 weeks to your total processing time with up to an additional 6 weeks for processing.
It is strongly suggested that you use the online forms and payment for processing.
Please also note we no longer accept inmate checks. We recommend that you have a friend or family member process process your filing on your behalf using the online forms and payment.
Regardless of the filing type you choose you are REQUIRED TO HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS with access to it!!!
